And honestly, we believe that’s exactly why, even though the AAP-01 has been out for years, no other brand has released a CNC frame yet. Unlike the relatively simple Hi-Capa lower, the AAP-01 frame has complex features like the hammer housing and the safety mechanism, all of which have to be precisely machined. What made things even tougher was the deep magwell design,extremely hard to process using CNC. And beyond just technical skill, you also need a factory willing to take on such a high-difficulty project. Fortunately, we work with an amazing CNC factory that took on the challenge and nailed it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThen\u003c\/strong\u003e came the prototyping phase. We spent over four months building and testing more than five different versions. We tested every detail, from tolerances to the fit and smooth function of every component. Since metal doesn't have the flexibility or give that plastic does, we had to get every tolerance just right, there was no room for error.
