Inside the high-strength polymer shell sits Raven's workhorse: the full-metal LEVIN Gearbox. Engineered specifically to handle the relentless stress of long, suppressive bursts, it features robust 18:1 steel gears cycling smoothly on 8mm metal bearings, a full steel-teeth piston, 16-gauge silver-coated low-resistance wiring, and a high-torque motor.

4. True Quick Spring Change System

Field limits vary, and support weapons face strict scrutiny at the chronograph. The LEVIN gearbox features a True Quick Spring Change system accessible directly through the rear of the receiver. You can cleanly swap your main spring out in minutes to perfectly match your local site’s specific LMG power regulations.

5. Ultimate Magazine Flexibility

While traditional LMGs force you to rely solely on bulky, noisy box magazines, the NEO LMG249-P features dual-feeding versatility. It is fully compatible with standard, lightweight M4/AR-15 platform AEG magazines. If your squad leader needs cover fire and your main drum runs dry, you can instantly slap in a standard M4 mid-cap borrowed from a teammate and keep your barrel in the fight.
